Module 5 - Field Test of WebQuest
Objective: To further
understand the traits of an effective WebQuest through field testing.

Materials |
| Activity 1: Find a group of at least 5-10 students
to field test the WebQuest. |
K-12 Students |
| Activity 2: Develop a checklist to record actions/reactions
of students using the WebQuest. Consider the students interest, use
of the WWW, and their achievement with the content. |

Activity 3: Field test the Treasure Hunt.

| Activity 4: Identify areas of the WebQuest that
need improvement and complete improvements. |
|
| Activity 5: With your partner or team, summarize
observations from your field test, focusing on what you learned about
students' interests and abilities as well as any modifications you
made to your WebQuest. |

| Activity 6: Revise posted WebQuest as necessary.
