Activity 5: Additional questions to consider individually, with a partner, or with a team:

  • Should WebQuests be completed individually, with a partner, or in small groups? What might the benefits or drawbacks be for each?
  • How long should a WebQuest take to complete? (1 class period, less than a week, or more than a week) Why?
  • Is it better for a WebQuest to only use WWW sites as resources, or should other resources (books, periodicals, videos, etc.) be used?
  • What are the benefits and drawbacks to having the task culminate in a computer activity (multimedia presentation, word processor document, spreadsheets, etc.) versus a more traditional format (poster, skit, report, etc.)?
