    Educational Technology Specialist (1997/1999 and 2002/Present)
    Birmingham Covington School, Birmingham, Michigan. Taught computer and research concepts and skills to students grades three through eight and teachers. Grades 3/4 focused oon hypermedia design and creation, 5/6 focused on video production, and 7/8 on web site design and creation.
    Curriculum Technology Integrator (2000/2002)
    Birmingham Public Schools, Birmingham, Michigan. Co-facilitator for three elementary buildings' technology teams; developed core curriculum-based units and activities to integrate technology in meaningful ways; provided building and district professional development that balanced curriculum, pedagogy, and technology skills; and developed a cadre of building leaders.
    Educator On-Loan (1999/2000)
    Michigan Department of Education, Lansing, Michigan. Provided consulting services and professional development related to all aspects of educational technology integration to districts throughout Michigan.
    Fifth/Sixth Grade Social Studies Teacher (1996/1997)
    Birmingham Covington School, Birmingham, Michigan. Developed and taught social studies/language arts units. Other activities included: Choice Hour instructor for computers, member of technology task force, and girls soccer coach.
    World Wide Web Project Designer & Instructor (1995/1997)
    Michigan State University (MSU) and Elliott Elementary, Holt, Michigan. The WWW Project focused on increasing students' and teachers' knowledge and use of the WWW as a medium for researching and publishing. Elliott Elementary was a Professional Development School.
    Technology Consultant & Workshop Presenter (1993/1996)
    Birmingham Public Schools. Designed and taught workshops on basic computing, word processing, hypermedia, graphics programs, and peripherals. Served as a consultant and teacher educator for Birmingham Covington School, a science and technology school of choice.
    Graduate Studies in Education Overseas Instructor (1995/1996)
    MSU. Designed and taught four graduate level courses in Japan for Michigan State's GSEO program: Introduction to Macintosh Computers; Advanced Graphics; Multimedia; and Videography.
    Computer Technology Project Director (1993/1995)
    MSU and Elliott Elementary. Designed and directed the Computer Technology Project. The CTP focused on increasing all teachers' and students' knowledge and use of technology throughout the curriculum. This end was achieved through modeling projects and methods, inservices, co-planning, and student training.
    Math Study Group Research Assistant (1992/1994)
    MSU and Elliott Elementary. Math Study Group participant at Elliott Elementary. Co-taught mathematics in two fifth grade classrooms, designed and conducted interviews, helped teachers write technology mini-grant proposals, and assisted in the writing and layout of an MCTM monograph.

    Gaithersburg Elementary School, Gaithersburg, Maryland. Developed and taught units in all subject areas in an inner city school environment.     MSU. CPRE study of systemic reform efforts in Michigan, California, and Vermont. Received human subjects clearance, designed and conducted interviews, prepared historical briefing, and analyzed statistical data.
    Spencer Project Multimedia Consultant (1992/1993)
    MSU. Spencer project studying Magdalene Lampert's mathematics teaching. Designed and implemented method of representing data on math content, studenting skills, and dilemma management in FileMaker and HyperCard.
    Teacher User Group's Director (1993/1995)
    Holt Public Schools. Designed and directed a district-wide elementary teachers' users group for teachers interested in integrating technology into the elementary curriculum.
    La Clase Magica Computer Instructor (1992/1993)
    MSU. Worked with elementary students and preservice teachers in a multi-lingual, literacy research program.

    Designed school technology curriculum, maintained school server, designed and maintained school intranet and internet sites, repaired computers, assisted teachers writing grants, taught computer classes, and helped staff plan and teach integrated computer projects.
